Mr. Gori is a 4th year PhD student at University of Louisville. He graduated with a Masters degree in organic chemistry from Sardar Patel University in India. In January 2011 he joined Dr. Michael Nantz's group at University of Louisville. Mr. Gori's primary focus is to engineer and synthesize chemoselective probes for metabolite analyses using mass spectrometry. So far he has designed three novel probes and published an article that describes identification and quantification of cellular thiol metabolites using FT-ICR-MS. He is currently working on novel boron-based probes for high-throughput analysis of diols and carboxylic acids.
