Andrew Palmer is currently a researcher at the University of Bremen, Germany in the Center for Industrial Mathematics. He undertook his PhD at the University of Birmingham, UK under the supervision of Dr. Iain Styles and Dr. Josephine Bunch on computational methods for hyperspectral imaging. Since joining the University of Bremen in 2013 he has been working on methods to meet the challenges of very large imaging mass spectrometry datasets, such as those produced by three-dimensional or high-mass resolution imaging.
