Michael Vogeser is senior physician at the Institute of Laboratory Medicine, Hospital of the University of Munich, Germany, and Professor of Laboratory Medicine. He is heading the working group on clinical mass spectrometry of the German Association of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine. Automation of mass spectrometric methods is one of his main areas of interest.
