Roland Geyer

I received my PhD in Microbiology from the university Jena in Germany with additional emphasis on Biophysics and Biochemistry. A stint as a postdoc at the Center for Biomarker Analysis at UT Knoxville, Tennessee from 2001 to 2004 changed my focus to Mass Spectrometry in life science and human health related applications. In 2006 I did joined AB Sciex in Switzerland as application specialist and european expert for lipidomics and other small molecule biomarkers. I joined Tecan Switzerland in 2009 as Innovation and Technology manager for sample preparation where I developed the technique, methods and applications I will present at MSACL EU this year.
