Pieter De Kesel graduated as Master in Drug Development in 2009 and obtained a degree of Master in Industrial Pharmacy in 2010 from Ghent University, Belgium. Currently, he is enrolled as PhD student in the Laboratory of Toxicology at Ghent University. His research focuses on alternative sampling strategies and matrices, such as dried blood spots and hair, and the development of LC-MS/MS methods. In particular, he is interested in new phenotyping strategies for the metabolic enzyme CYP1A2.
