Andy Hoofnagle is Associate Professor and Head of the Division of Clinical Chemistry in the Department of Laboratory Medicine at the University of Washington. His laboratory is grant-funded to develop assays using LC-MS/MS to quantify proteins in clinical samples, to investigate the function of high density lipoproteins in the inflammatory pathways leading to atherosclerosis, and to develop novel workflows for the quantification of small molecules in clinically relevant matrices.
