Boone Prentice

Boone M. Prentice recieved his B.S. degree in Chemistry in 2008 from Longwood University (Farmville, VA). He received his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN) in 2013 under the direction of Professor Scott. A. McLuckey focusing on mass spectrometry ion trap instrumentation development as well as the gas-phase ion chemistry of biologically relevant ions. He is currently a postdoctoral research fellow in Professor Richard M. Caprioli's lab where his research focuses on MALDI-TOF imaging instrumentation and pancreatic islet development.
