After completing her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Grace spent 10 years doing environmental monitoring testing at a number of private labs. LC-MS/MS seemed a bit scary after primarily using GC-MS, but after a short introduction to LC-MS/MS at a small CRO, she was hooked. Grace spent 5 year there doing method development and analysis of small molecule pharmaceuticals by LC-MS/MS. Since December 2010, Grace has been with St. Paul's Hospital developing methods for the clinical laboratory's mass spectrometry program. Recently, Grace has forayed from small molecules (such as steroid hormones) to large peptides, which has been both challenging and exciting!
