MSACL Presenter Biography

Chris Crutchfield
The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine

I'm presently a clinical chemistry fellow at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine Department of Pathology. I am actively engaged in computational and experimental research related to mass spectrometry based clinical assays. Specifically, I'm interested in developing new strategies for untargeted analysis of small molecules, small molecule quantification, and validation of MALDI-TOF microbial identification assays. After my fellowship I intend to find a position in a clinical laboratory in an academic medical center and focus my research time on mass spectrometry based assay development.
