I am an Associate Director of Microbiology and an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center. I conducted my undergrad and graduate studies at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and went on to complete a fellowship in Medical and Public Health Microbiology at Washington University in St. Louis in 2010. I am board certified by the American Board of Medical Microbiology (ABMM).
