Anna Catharina Suhr

Anna Catharina Suhr graduated as a pharmacist from the University of Hamburg, Germany. Her diploma thesis in Forensic and Clinical Toxicology at the Institute of Forensic Medicine, Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena, Germany, focused on metabolite generation and structure elucidation by GC-MS and LC-MS/MS and was supervised by PD Dr F. Peters. Currently she works as a PhD student in the group Clinical Mass Spectrometry, headed by Prof. M. Vogeser, at the Institute of Laboratory Medicine, Ludwig-Maximillian-University of Munich, Germany. Her PhD project addresses the quantification of small lipophilic biomarkers in diagnostic samples using LC-MS/MS with a focus on corticosteroids and eicosanoids. Moreover she is interested in automation of clinical LC-MS/MS methods. Her project is funded by the Hans Fischer Society, Munich.
