Robert Popp
UVic - Genome BC Proteomics Centre

Robert Popp is a 2nd year Ph.D. student in Dr. Christoph Borcher’s lab at the University of Victoria – Genome BC Proteomics Centre. He obtained his Bachelor and Master of Science in Bio- and Pharmaceutical analysis at the University of Applied Sciences Fresenius, Germany. His Ph.D. work includes the development of mass spectrometric, high throughput diagnostic assays for secondary hypertension and colorectal cancer, based on immuno-affinity capture of target peptides and absolute quantitation by MALDI analysis.
