My name is Noortje de Haan, currently I am a PhD student in the group of Prof. Dr. Manfred Wuhrer at the Center of Proteomics and Metabolomics at the Leiden University Medical Center (Leiden, The Netherlands). Last year September I graduated cum laude for my Masters studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences, track Biomarkers and Clinical Chemical Analysis at the VU University Amsterdam. Alongside my study program, I attended the MSc+ excellence program in Analytical Chemistry hosted by COAST. I am very interested in both the clinical aspects of human life sciences as well as in the development of bioanalytical techniques. In my current PhD project I work on the development of a novel glycoanalytical method for biomarker discovery.
