I am currently a post doctoral fellow at Institute of Pediatric Research IRP "Città della Speranza" (Department of Women's and Children's Health, University of Padova, Italy). My research is broadly focused on the development of novel bio-analytical and mass spectrometry based methods for the characterisation and quantification of small molecules, and the application of these strategies to identify biomarkers for the onset and progression of pediatric disease. My post doctoral research focused in metabolic studies of rare disease, like mitochondrial beta-oxidation disease and aminoacidemias, inborn errors of bile acid metabolism and lysosomal storage disease, application of HRMS metabolomic to investigate respiratory pediatric disease.
