Sarah Pitkin

My first degree was BA (Hons) in Natural Sciences (Pharmacology) from the University of Cambridge, in which I graduated with a 2.1 in 2006. From 2006 to 2010 I studied for my PhD in Clinical Pharmacology at the Clinical Pharmacology Unit, University of Cambridge. Between 2010 and 2013 I trained as a Clinical Scientist at the Department of Clinical Biochemistry, Royal London Hospital. I completed the MSc Clinical Biochemistry at University College London, graduating with distinction in 2012. Following completion of this training programme, I obtained State Registration as a Clinical Scientist in 2014. I am currently employed as a Clinical Scientist in the Department of Clinical Biochemistry, UCL Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where I am working towards Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists.
