MSACL Presenter Biography

Tiphaine Cecchini
bioMérieux

After High school, I studied mathematics and physics for 2 years. Following the national exam, I was accepted in PHELMA, Grenoble, an engineering school in Physics, Applied Physics, Electronics & Materials Science. For my final year, I also followed in an international master’s degree in Nanobiology in parallel, at the University of Grenoble. I graduated from Phelma with honors as an engineer of systems and microsystems for biotechnology. I also succeed in my international master degree of Nanobiology. My final internship lasted 6 months and took place in bioMérieux, Marcy l’Etoile France, where I explored the use of mass spectrometry to screen and monitor antibiotic resistance. Because I loved the research I did there, I set up a PhD project on the same topic in collaboration with J-P. Charrier at bioMérieux and the help of my future PhD director at Lyon University, J. Lemoine.
