I attended the Technical University of Technology in Graz, Austria where I obtained the degree of "Diplom Ingeneur", which is the equivalent to MSc. (2004-2009). For masters thesis I worked with SF-ICP-MS under Dr. Sabine Becker and Dr. Klaus Guenther at the "Division for Chemical Analysis (ZCH)", Research Center Juelich, Germany (2009). I started my PhD studies at Vanderbilt University under Dr. John A. McLean in 2012 mainly focusing on MS-based metabolomics studies.
