Katie Thoren received her Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley. She completed her fellowship in Clinical Chemistry at the University of California, San Francisco where she investigated the use of high resolution mass spectrometry in broad spectrum drug screening. She is currently an Assistant Attending Clinical Chemist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
