Grace Van Der Gugten completed her BSc in Chemistry from The King’s University College in 1996. Subsequent to many years in the Environmental Lab Industry, she gained an interest in small molecule assay development by LC-MS/MS at CANTEST LTD, in Vancouver, BC, Canada, where she spent over 5 years developing and validating LC-MS/MS assays for novel pharmaceuticals. In December 2010 she joined the Special Chemistry team at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver to do clinical research developing LC-MS/MS assays for plasma/urine steroids and plasma peptides.
