Alan Jarmusch
Purdue University

Alan K. Jarmusch received a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2011, studying anti-inflammatory natural products originating from native North American plants using LC-MS. The same year he joined the chemistry graduate program at Purdue University and is currently a Ph.D. candidate, mentored by Professor R. Graham Cooks. His current research interest includes the development and application of ambient ionization-mass spectrometry in the fields of medicine and natural products.
