Steven Taylor received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Queensland, Australia and completed his post-doctoral training at the University of California, Davis, the University of Delaware and at the University of Tübingen in Germany. Steve subsequently held academic positions as an Assistant Professor at Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science (now Philadelphia University) and as research faculty at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO). Steve joined the biotech industry in 2001, first leading a proteomics program at MitoKor Inc, and subsequently, a peptide discovery program at Amylin Pharmaceuticals Inc. Steve joined Quest Diagnostics Nichols Institute in 2012 where he is currently an Associate Scientific Director of R&D Mass Spectrometry with a focus on large molecule assay development.
