View Long Abstract
The Transcend TLX system powered by TurboFlow technology in conjunction with high performance liquid chromatography and single quadrupole mass spectrometry (TLX/MS) is utilized for the rapid cleanup, separation, detection, and quanitation of 23 benzodiazepines, achieving consistent ppb level quantitative results against internal standards from molecular and confirming ions in blood and urine matrices with area RSD better than 5%. The utilization of online TurboFlow technology drastically reduces the cleanup required for the analysis of benzodiazepines in post-mortem samples, eliminates contamination of the MS source from strongly hydrolyzed samples, and significantly improves limits of quantitation thus allowing confirmatory quantitation with single quadrupole mass spectrometry.
