In busy drug screening lab adding a new method for analysis of another set of drugs might be challenging task. We developed generic LC-MS method implementing ultra-high resolution Exactive which makes new application development process very efficient. Ionization source parameters and chromatography were optimized to analyze wide range of chemically diverse compounds. Full scan data is collected with resolution of 100 000 (FWMH). Quantitation is based on chromatographic peaks reconstructed with mass accuracy of 2 ppm. Method was validated for analysis of several drug classes including benzodiazepines, opiates, synthetic opioids and it is successfully implemented as routine analytical procedure.
