View Long Abstract
Pressure cycling technology (PCT) can extract protein from tissue and accelerate trypsin digest of proteins in minutes while other separation and digestion techniques can take hours. The Barocycler, a PCT instrument (Pressure BioSciences Inc., South Easton, MA) was used for these experiments. We hypothesized that proteins from any tissue could be rapidly extracted and trypsinized.
