Immunosuppressants analysis, newborn screening and vitamin D monitoring: Commercial reagent kits, calibrators and quality controls are results of a process starting with thorough scientific investigation on both, methodological aspects and epidemiological relevance. Products available to the public rarely unveil the efforts hidden in the development process.
This workshop shows how Chromsystems achieves convincing product quality and focuses on three selected issues: 1) the tandem mass spectrometry analysis of the immunosuppressant drugs cyclosporin A, tacrolimus, sirolimus, everolimus (OneMinute test), 2) the tandem mass spectrometry analysis of succinylacetone as part of the newborn screening programme and 3) the tandem mass spectrometry analysis of 25-OH-Vitamin D3 and D2 with particular emphasis on its epimer form.
