We used the LC-ESI-MS/MS methodology for bottom-up profiling blood plasma proteome. 809 proteins could be identified. From them: 53 increased expression level at transition from the control to squamous cell carcinomas I-II and III-IV stages; decrease in level of an expression observed for 45 of proteins;43 of proteins were not detected in control group; 92 of proteins were not detected in case group. Our methodology is a practical approach to proteome mapping of blood plasma. Proteins whose expression levels logically changed from the control over IV stages SCC are potential markers for diagnostics of lung cancer.
