Cleveland HeartLab, Inc. is a rapidly growing specialty clinical laboratory and disease management company focused on biomarker technologies. We are located in the Midtown Corridor of Cleveland, Ohio and are searching for a Bioanalytical Chemist/Mass Spectrometrist in our Research and Development department.

We are looking for innovative candidates to develop cutting edge diagnostic tools that will have a direct impact on patient lives. Leading candidates will have a PhD in chemistry, biochemistry or related area and a 1-2 year track record of productivity in quantitative proteomics including postdoctoral research. Candidates with an MS and significant industrial experience are also welcomed. Direct experience in the quantitative analysis of peptides/proteins is required and the successful candidate may also support small molecule work. Strong capabilities developing quantitative assays using triple quadrupole mass spectrometry are essential and a deep understanding of separation techniques including SPE, affinity approaches, and HPLC is desired. Experience with clinical bioanalytical applications and authorship of SOPís would be a distinct advantage. Our laboratories are well equipped with mass spectrometers and supporting analytical instrumentation.
