You will join our interdisciplinary research team that focuses on advancing our diagnostic product pipeline through developing and validating protein assays using LCMS technologies. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, inquisitive, and excel in a highly collaborative and multi-disciplinary environment.
Routinely analyzing biological samples for the quantitation of small molecules/proteins using LC-MS/MS systems using established methods.
Preparing sample analysis reports.
Develop and validate methods as per guidelines for the quantitation of small molecules/proteins from biofluids.
Maintaining records in relation to sample analysis projects.
Keeping track of supplies for the sample analysis projects and ordering as required.
Participating in group meetings as required.
Work cross-functionally on multi-disciplinary projects.
Job Qualifications
BS in Chemistry, or related, or MS with emphasis on analytical chemistry
Experience in handling biological samples and knowledge of common sample cleanup methods.
Experience in operating, maintaining and troubleshooting triple quadrupole MS systems (such as ABSciex API 4000 /6500) is required.
Experience in a GLP environment is preferred but not required.
New method development and validation is preferred but not required
Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to maintain well-organized laboratory records.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Well-versed in safe laboratory practices.
Strong initiative, positive attitude, and ability to function effectively in a highly collaborative team environment.
May be exposed to hazardous materials
