Dr. Dasari is a research associate in the division of biomedical statistics and informatics at the Mayo Clinic. He is a computer scientist and he has a PhD in biomedical informatics from Oregon Health & Science University. His main interests are the informatics of proteomics, proteogeonomics, and metabolomics. He developed several search engines for detecting protein mutations and posttranslational modifications using mass spectrometry. Dr. Dasari is currently focused on characterizing protein variations in systemic amyloidosis.
