I completed my graduate school training in biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Shortly after graduate school, I trained as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Clinical Chemistry and Pharmacogenomics at San Francisco General Hospital and UC San Francisco where I explored and developed the clinical applications of time-of-flight mass spectrometry. Currently, I am a research scientist at the Department of Laboratory Medicine at UC San Francisco running a small molecule analysis laboratory with specific focus in clinical and environmental toxicology.
