Joe El-Khoury is a first year post-doctoral clinical biochemistry fellow at the Cleveland Clinic. Joe's research interests include method development by liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry and cardiovascular and kidney function biomarker discovery. Joe has been an active student member of the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) and its Society for Young Clinical Laboratorians (SYCL) since 2009. Upon completion of his training, Joe will be seeking board certification from the American Board of Clinical Chemistry and a position as a medical director of clinical chemistry testing in an academic medical center.
