Kai Tang did his graduate research on mass spectrometry of nucleic acids in Oak Ridge National Laboratory and obtained his Ph.D degree from Vanderbilt University. He was a senior scientist in Sequenom Inc. of San Diego, California before joining the School of Biological Sciences, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. His current research interests include mass spectrometry applications in biomarker discovery, analyses of virus-host interactions, and method development for H/D exchange coupled with LC/MS.
