Theodore Alexandrov
University of California San Diego

Theodore Alexandrov received his PhD in 2007 in mathematics at St. Petersburg State University, Russia. In the same year, he started his postdoctoral work at the Center for Industrial Mathematics, University of Bremen, in particular, coordinating the international PhD program "Scientific Computing in Engineering". He is the co-founder and the scientific director of the Steinbeis Innovation Center SCiLS in Bremen, Germany. In 2010, he visited the NIH Center for Computational Mass Spectrometry, University of California San Diego. Since 2011, he is a visiting researcher at the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of California San Diego. Since 2011, he is head of MALDI Imaging Lab at Departments of Biochemistry and Mathematics at the University of Bremen.
