Matthew Olson
Department of Pathology, The Johns Hopkins Hospita

Matthew Olson is currently a cytopathology fellow in the Department of Pathology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. A longtime mass spectrometry enthusiast, Dr. Olson began his research career as a chemistry student at The George Washington University where he also obtained a medical degree. He participated in an NIH fellowship with Dr. Alfred Yergey. Currently his mass spectrometry interests span from fundamental to applied; he hopes to introduce this technology to the practice of cytopathology.
