Short Abstract The development of an effective and robust sample preparation method for analysis of complex biological matrices is critical for LC-MS/MS-based LDTs in the clinical laboratory as it may significantly impact the quality of results and ultimately increase time and cost of analysis. This section of the case history will focus on the re-development of the sample preparation method and LC-MS/MS method improvements for the analysis of a broad range of drugs in a complex biological matrix (i.e., tissue) and the validation of the assay for implementation into routine clinical use. |
