Unveiling Cellular Interactions: A Mass Spectrometry Approach to Spatial Proteomics
Mate Nagy, PhD
Ionpath

Summary

This workshop hosted by Ionpath offers an enlightening presentation on the innovative use of Multiplexed Ion Beam Imaging (MIBI). This talk will explore how MIBI leverages Time-of-Flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (ToF-SIMS) to simplify numerous issues present in MS workflows within spatial imaging. Attendees will gain insights into Ionpath’s capabilities and applications in spatial proteomic studies of tissue microenvironments.

In addition to our presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about real-life applications of MIBI.

The presentation will include a live demo of MIBIsight, an interactive bioinformatics and data exploration platform. This demo will illustrate how researchers can efficiently analyze and visualize complex data consisting of single-cell phenotypes, functional marker intensities, and spatial relationships, empowering them to derive meaningful insights from their spatial proteomic experiments.

Join us for an engaging discussion on spatial proteomics and discover how MIBI is reshaping the landscape of cellular interaction analysis. Explore the possibilities, learn from real-world successes, and experience firsthand the power of MIBIsight in unlocking the secrets of the tissue microenvironment.
