Troubleshooting Cases Session: Share & Learn from Real LC-MS/MS Challenges

Wednesday Sep 24 from 16:45 (04:45 PM) to 18:15 (06:15 PM) in Montreal 3 during the Discussion Group Session

Have you faced an LC-MS/MS problem—whether resolved or still in progress? This session is your chance to share that experience with other clinical laboratory users. No issue is too simple or too complex: from method development and validation to day-to-day production troubleshooting. If you learned something from the process, chances are others can too.

The purpose is to spark discussion and spread practical expertise on the aspects of mass spectrometry that usually stay hidden—when things go wrong. This is not about being perfect. It’s about learning together.

During the Troubleshooting Cases Session, presenters will give a 3–5 minute summary of their case:

  • The problem encountered
  • The troubleshooting steps taken
  • Any insights or lessons learned

A panel of experienced users — and interested attendees — will then join in the discussion, offering suggestions and perspectives.

This session is informal and collegial, designed to encourage interaction between poster presenters, reviewers, and any conference-goers who join. The goal is mutual learning: presenters benefit from group insights, and attendees gain exposure to real-world troubleshooting approaches.

Troubleshooting Cases, along with other Practical Training events at MSACL, aim to foster networking, collaboration, and education within the clinical mass spectrometry community.

The Troubleshooting Cases will be presented in Montreal 3.
