Guidelines for Abstract Submission

Submit Abstract

Guidelines:

1. You may submit TWO abstracts.
2. While presenter substitutions are permitted, they MAY NOT result in any individual presenting more than two abstracts.
3. Following acceptance, in order to become part of the Scientific Program you must purchase a FULL conference registration (not Exhibits Only) BY the EarlyBird Registration Deadline for Podium Presenters and by Feb 25 for Poster presenters.
4. Podium Presentations may be VIDEO (Slides Only) AND AUDIO RECORDED, but will not be placed on the MSACL website until AFTER you have approved the content.

The Review Process:
All submitted abstracts are reviewed by members of the Scientific Committee for scientific merit and appropriateness of content. Abstracts submitted for a podium presentation, but which are not chosen for an oral presentation will automatically be considered for poster contention.

MSACL requires submission of a Short AND Long Abstract.

You will be submitting a:

1. Short Abstract and
2. Long Abstract (PDF).

Short Abstract:

The Short Abstract will be in the printed program.

1. Abstract title no more than 25 words.
2. Abstract body no more than 100 words.
3. One paragraph only (no line breaks).
4. Only Presenting Author listed.
5. No references.
6. No support acknowledgments.

Long Abstract (submit as PDF) :

The Long Abstract will be in the electronic Conference Program. Please use the font and margin specifications below. You may include figures and/or tables and use color. You may acknowledge support and include references.

1. For online Conference Program.
2. PDF
3. No length restriction.
4. Font: Times New Roman 12pt.
5. Line Spacing: 1.5
6. Margins: 1 inch all around.
7. Do not indent paragraphs.
8. One carriage return between paragraphs.
9. May include images, tables, plots and color.
10. Please follow the Abstract Header Formats outlined below:
    • Header Format (One Author).
    • Header Format (Two or More Authors, Same Affiliation).
    • Header Format (Two or More Authors, Different Affilations).

Only abstracts submitted online that follow the above formatting will be accepted.
