Biognosys sells products and services to customers with a strong scientific background. We offer products and solutions that support researchers in the proteomics field. Our sales process requires a significant amount of technical knowledge of proteomics research and requires excellent knowledge of mass spectrometry technology. Reporting to the director of global product sales, your responsibilities include presentation of relevant Biognosys software and workflows supporting proteomics applications. You will be responsible for product demonstrations and answering technical questions to support the sales process. The position requires visiting interested customers to present Biognosys technology and products. In collaboration with Biognosys’ marketing team and R&D scientists you will be responsible to generate product sales reference material as needed. This includes design and generation of custom sales collateral and technical sales documentation. You will further support lead generation and nurturing as well as attending and presenting at roadshows and scientific conferences.

• MSc or PhD in biochemistry, analytical chemistry or ideally in proteomics.
• First-hand experience with proteomics and mass spectrometric methods
• Ideally familiarity with Biognosys’ DIA/SWATH technology
• Independent, responsible and accurate working style
• Excellent verbal and written communications, strong presentation, analytical, organizational and interpersonal (teamwork oriented) skills are essential
• Willingness to travel and availability for early morning or late evening phone calls (e.g. to Europe)
• Ability to work in a heterogeneous and dynamic environment and willingness to learn from the team
• Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel and other standard MS Office skills
