Where to Eat

Several meals will be taken offsite during MSACL 2019 EU. Salzburg offers a wonderful variety of dining experiences within walking distance of the congress center. In addition to the options listed below, you may find many casual dining options along the pedestrian street, Linzer Gasse. While there, don't miss a visit to the oldest street in Salzburg, the Steingasse. Also find Getreidegasse where Mozart's birthplace is, and wander down Goldgasse up to the Festung Hohensalzburg.

6 IMLAUER Sky - Bar & Restaurant $$$ 9am-1:30am Rooftop patio with a view. Bar for Drinks. Fancy food.
7 Braurestaurant IMLAUER $$ 11am-12am Austrian, traditional interior plus a beer garden, good for groups.
8 Bistro de Marquez $ Tue-Fri: 11.30 - 14.30 & 16.00 - 19.00 / Sat: 11.30 - 14.30 & 16.00 - 20.00, Closed Sun/Mon South American food. Close to Congress. Make a reservation on their website.
9 Bärenwirt $$ 11am-11pm Cozy and Traditional Austrian, fills up so arrive early, or make reservation.

11 Krimpelstätter $$ 11am-11pm. Hot food to 9pm. Closed Sun/Mon Traditional Austrian food since 1584, Beer Garden, Good for groups up to 50 pax.
12 Augustiner bräu - Kloster Mülln $ 3pm-11pm Historic Abby turned beer garden with some food stalls, good for very large groups. The place to be Thursday evening after the close of MSACL.
13 Murphy's Law Irish Pub $ 2pm-2am After Dinner, you'll find folks from MSACL here for drinks and music.
14 M32 $$$ 9am-1am, Closed Monday Take the elevator up at the Museum of Modernism. M32 offers breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks in the city over the city.
15 Restaurant Goldener Hirsch $$$ Lunch and Dinner The restaurant is classic salzburg.
16 Balkan Grill Walter $ 11am-7pm, 2pm-7pm Sundays A favorite take-out place.
